The Bauddha Bihar Sangh was established fifty years ago with purposes i.To preserve Buddhist monasteries, ii. To preserve Buddhist arts, philosophy, music and culture iii. To flourish Buddha's teaching, iv. Conserve Buddhist arts, ritual artifacts, v. To cooperate with the social and ritual activities from member organizations and vi. To help protect Shakya's and Bajracharyas from the monasteries in Lalitpur.The Bauddha Bihar Sangh serves as the umbrella organization for the Vajrayana monasteries of Lalitpur, and since its establishment, it has been continuously dedicated to preserving and promoting our Buddhist traditions, cultural heritage, and the precious teachings of the Buddha.
